Welcome to R&J Boer Goats. We are Russell and Jessica. We got started in the goat business in 2001 when we bought some land that was very overgrown with weeds. At first we bought a few pigmy and fainting goats to have as pets.
When our first kids were born in the spring of 2002, we fell in love. Throughout the rest of that year we bought Boer, Nubian, and Alpine does and a fullblood Boer Buck.
In 2003 and 2004, we added our first fullblood does to our herd and also added some color. We bought a few 100% black, red and paint does. We also purchased a fullblood black buck and a fullblood red buck.
 In 2006 we decided to change things up a little, after 5 years of kidding out about 125 does per year and selling most of the kids for meat, we have decided to reduce our herd to about 50 head of mostly registered does.
Our herd consists of reds, blacks, paints, traditionals, and a few with spots, ranging from registered percentages to fullbloods, so a goat to fit every need. Whether you are looking for something in particular or just want to talk goat, please feel free to email or give us a call.
